Employees get to know each other better away from the stiff formality of a work setting. A typical off site meeting at our park will begin with a breakfast served as employees are arriving. Most groups then have their meetings throughout the morning, interrupted perhaps by a mid-morning coffee/snack break. Groups may congregate in our pavilions, upper and lower dance hall, or even at picnic tables near the lake. We customarily serve a hearty noontime lunch, after which there may be organized team-building games, or simply free time in a restful setting away from the office during which coworkers can get to know one another better. They can play volleyball, basketball, go for a boat ride, play softball, swim, hike, or just sit under the trees and chat.
